In March 2020, we took the decision to remain open to support key workers, vulnerable customers and those that needed their vehicles for essential use. We introduced new measures for our Aftersales departments that met the required guidelines, which were extended throughout the business as we re-opened in June.
Through stringent adherence to these measures, we have operated successfully and further to the Government’s announcement of Tier 4 restrictions on Wednesday 30th December, I can confirm that Drayton Motors remain committed to serving our customers in-line with the published guidance.
From Thursday 31st December, our Service departments will remain open and operating with the safety measures that have been in place since March, and available to view on online.
As is the law, the showrooms at all of our dealerships will be closed - this includes the used car displays. I am, however pleased to confirm that as before, we have our online teams available to to assist with both telephone and online sales, offering a contactless collection service to our customers. So we are very much open for business please just call us rather than visit.

• Live chat, virtual appointments or personalised videos – we can discuss your requirements and show you around with an in-depth tour of any of our vehicles whilst you are in the comfort of your own home.
• Contactless Collection – using our designated area, we can ensure a socially distanced handover for customers who make a purchase online or with our team over the telephone.
• Home delivery – we can discuss the various contact-less options available.
Our Aftersales teams remain in place for accident repair, servicing, MOT and repairs, and I would ask customers to continue to follow the directional signage when on site. We also continue to offer our collection and delivery service.
Please be assured, as a covid-safe dealership, we work to ensure that both you and our staff remain safe at all times. As mentioned above, we learnt quickly and adapted in March, so I am confident that we are well placed for what lies ahead over the coming weeks.
