This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in establishing and growing the aftersales operation at a brand-new site. You’ll lead our Service and Parts departments, build a high-performing team and ensure our customers receive a first-class experience every time.
We’re offering an OTE of up to £60,000+, together with a company car and a fantastic range of benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise customer satisfaction by delivering outstanding service and aftersales support.
- Maintain regular communication with existing customers to ensure service levels are met, issues are resolved and new business opportunities are explored.
- Take responsibility for the daily operations of the Service and Parts Departments, including workshop loading, efficiency, upselling, WIP, parts stock control, returns and exchanges.
- Monitor departmental performance against budgets, identifying shortfalls and implementing effective improvement plans.
- Lead, train, coach and appraise Service and Parts team members, supporting their development and encouraging a proactive, customer-first mindset.
- Lead regular team briefings to identify and promote additional business opportunities, supported by effective systems and staff incentives.
- Recruit, train and develop team members to create a high-performing, motivated and customer-focused workforce.
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships across the dealership and wider Drayton Motors business.
- Ensure all Kia manufacturer standards, systems and procedures are consistently followed.
- Maintain a safe, compliant and efficient working environment for all colleagues.
- Help shape and develop the aftersales operation as the new Boston Kia site grows.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a similar Aftersales Manager or senior Service/Parts management role within the motor trade is essential.
- A hands-on leader who is willing to get involved and do whatever is required to deliver results.
- An ambitious and target-driven manager with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
- The ability to train, coach and motivate Service and Parts teams, developing people to reach their full potential.
- A customer-focused individual with an uncompromising approach to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a customer-centric culture.
- Outstanding interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
- An innovative individual who is willing to explore new ways of improving performance and driving business growth.
- The ability to build a team and establish strong processes within a brand-new dealership environment.
- A full and valid UK driving licence.
